SIT BACK WITH A BOOK

While studying Graphic Design at our local Technikon I had to have some part time work to support my student lifestyle. I managed to hook a job at Exclusive Books in Gateway. Needless to say it was a fortunate turn of events. I had the hugest library to browse and an almost endless resource of the hottest, newest reference. I did however make some other amazing literary discoveries. These are some of them below. It's a mix of adventure, classics - both all time and modern, autobiographies, sweeping saga's and local fiction. I'd dig to hear some of your favourites.

Wow, so many of my favourites are in your pile! Also big fan of Murakami and adored Pitch Black by Janet Fitch :-)

My favourite book of all time is 'Everything is Illuminated' by Jonathan Safran Foer. It has the most creative narrative style I've even come across.

Just in case you were interested!

Hey Gen. Think I had a copy of After the Quake but never got around to reading it. Greg, I remember seeing the cover of that book and thinking it looked pretty cool...one of my must-reads. Anyone read any Rushdie at all?

Glad to say I've read about half of those, and the rest are on my list :)
I really love reading, books are a whole experience, so much better than TV.
