So from what I've read it seems there's a move in the world of furniture design and architecture to using bamboo instead of other wood. Why you ask? Well bamboo is often very sustainable, durable and it grows like wildfire, making it the choice of many looking to go the green route. Well I found these two items through Dwell magazine but have seen a few others in various magazines. Check out the Kyoto sideboard by crateandbarrel and the Spring Chair by modernbamboo. Oh and before I forget the Kyoto sideboard is made using wood-joining techniques so that's no screws or nails.
